Snow is winter’s dance of illusion
each flake a swirl of separation
uniquely formed into frozen cohesion
twirling with partners before its fall
to Earth. Frozen life
in trillions of shapes
waiting to begin in another form
No two alike
yet all separated
from the same source
like us watching the dance
from our own windows
sitting upon different colored
cushions, yet breathing
the same air as this
mesmerization of life
waltzes around us

Thank you, Sue. The poem came to me today while watching the snow fall outside and I realized it complimented your photo. 🙂
