A blogger survey

I was nominated by the wonderfully inspiration blogger, Savvy Raj, to answer these questions she has posed for her Sunshine blogger nominees. Do visit her fabulous blog, it’s well-worth the time.

The Q & A:

What is your take on equality of sexes?

My first thought was, “what is there to take?” In all seriousness, though, doesn’t it really come down to this, in essence. The idea of not taking, and simply allowing for the nondivision of all humanity, regardless of sex, creed, color, income, education…and the list goes on? I guess I’m just plain tired of categorizing and dividing, and the seemingly endless and tiresome quest of the individual to get “ahead” and be “above.” The strive to be better, or stronger (which has what has allowed for the inequality of the sexes) really speaks to the innate fear that we are not enough.

What is your idea of happiness?

My idea of happiness is inner peace. Finding that harmony with the mind and living fully  (joyfully) through the heart.

What is your idea of a perfect day in your life?

A day lived in pure joy. Then, it really doesn’t matter where you are, or what you are “doing,” because you are truly “being” present in each moment.

Do you like to dance, if so what style or form attracts you?

Let me first say, I wish I could dance. I love the beauty and grace of the art of dance, and it can fill me with awe as an observer. I’m not blessed with the natural grace of a dancer’s rhythm, but I do, on occasion, enjoy the abandon of dancing when no one is watching. 😉 In terms of what I like to watch the most, probably ballet.

What are you most thankful for?

Love. Really, without it, where would we all be?

Among the many valuable qualities what is the most important quality to develop as a human being?

Compassion.
