Sitting, for a moment, with Possibility

It’s Monday morning. The teenagers are off to school, the husband to work. There is a dog on each couch. One beside me, the other off at a forty-five degree angle with her back turned to the edge. In the other room the pellet stove hums through fire and my home is filling with its warmth. Outside, the sun is rising to melt the frost that laces the ground in white, and dry the laundry that I have just hung on the line.  And, somewhere in the midst of trees and bushes the cats roam the early day.

Even though the hours spread before me without a tangible promise, inside the body the heart beats with possibility. It promises nothing but what I make of it. The routine of daily life is laid before me. I know I will walk and feed the dogs at midday. Pick the kids up a few hours later. But the in-between is mine to fill. There are no yoga classes to teach, except the one I will offer to myself after I finish this post.

Already I can see the blue of the mat spread across the wood. My muscles stir cells reaching through memory to begin again anew. An hour to dance with the vessel of form and stretch into the wonder that is life.

I think of the days when I would sit and wait for wonder to find me. An offer of something new through an email or phone call leading me down a path of exploration. Today there are no expectations. No disappointments of no magic beyond the mundane in the tangible. There is only me sitting in the stillness of possibility and the knowing that I have minutes to weave into the creation of hours. Words to follow onto the page and their journeys to explore.

Today brings the promise of the joy of creation. To traveling inside the labyrinth of the self and find the treasure of the seed waiting to sprout. The bud reaching for the touch of light to bloom. Words press me into the shadowlands in search of wonder. They have stories waiting there. Life in stasis, softly breathing as it waits to unfold. And so, I think, perhaps I will write their stories, not knowing what they will tell me yet, or where they will lead me to wander. It doesn’t matter where we will end up. The magic is in the endless opening. The light beckoning in the soft fire of the heart.

Another Morning Has Broken: Grow the Light #GivePraise #Gratitude

IMG_2030.jpg

I woke with the lyrics of the hymn playing  inside of my head in the voice of Judy Collins, even though I grew up listening to Cat Stevens singing “Morning has Broken.” I have not heard the song in years, but there it was, singing inside a mind that refused to fall back to sleep. In my dream, I had been writing this blog post while the beauty of the song played on repeat.

Before I went to sleep last night, I watched most of the U.S. democratic presidential debates. “Are they still on?” my son asked when he came downstairs in preparation for bed. He had suggested we watch them, and together we had for about an hour.

“Yeah, I told him, but they haven’t even gotten to the environment yet.”

“Maybe it’s not on the agenda topics,” my husband replied.

Instead, the focus was on healthcare and gun control. Two topics I will not deny are essential to individual wellbeing. But, if we don’t tend to the home we all share, we won’t have individual selves to care for. Eventually, the morning light will not break into a new day on Earth.

16-yr. old  Greta Thunberg is now famous for telling us, “Adults keep saying we owe it to the young people, to give them hope, but I don’t want your hope. I don’t want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I feel every day. I want you to act. I want you to act as you would in a crisis. I want you to act as if the house is on fire, because it is.”

The truth is, most of us are more concerned with our own houses, than the home we share. Neglecting to realize that our individual houses are irrelevant if we don’t take care of the planet. Simply put, our house will burn if we continue to ignore the fact that our collective home is literally on fire. Immense forests, the lungs of our Earth, are burning because of climate change. While the land burns, the waters are rising. In attempt to shake us awake, our home is self-destructing with our help.

I realized as I was waking this morning that the song playing on repeat through my dreams was not a song, literally, of mourning, but a hymn of praise to the new day. It is also, though, a praise for union and the truth that we are “born of one light.” The song is incredibly beautiful, and it is no wonder it has been sung by various artists throughout the years. It may have originated as a Christian hymn, but it has a universal appeal, as Cat Stevens, also known as Yusuf Islam, has shown us.

Although I don’t adhere to a religion, I believe that we are all birthed from the same light. A light that weaves through all life, including this living planet we call home. We have, collectively, over many years, but more so in the more recent past, worked more to break this light than to honor it and nurture it.

Science says we are creatures of habit. It can take an individual two weeks to a year to break an old habit and form a new one.  Sadly,  we have made a global habit of looking out more for the individual self than our selves as an integral part of the web-of-light/life that we are all a part of.

The other day, I watched a brief clip of Greta being interviewed by a morning show on a major network here in the U.S. She had just traveled to the states via a zero-emissions boat. As her visibly uncomfortable interviewers also pointed out, she has also walked to their studio.

It takes a fair amount of discomfort to welcome in a “new morning” in favor of the one we are used to greeting. It takes a stretching of the eyes and mind a little wider to really see what exists beyond our myopic field of perception. But, the rewards are infinite. Imagine, for a moment, a new morning breaking into day. Imagine your beautiful light weaving into the light around you. Imagine what you can bring to this new day.

Admittedly, most of us will not change all of our habits, and certainly not at once. I know I am not ready to give up travel by plane to sail across the ocean, but there are choices I can make in each moment to dim the light, or to grow it. Here are a few that we can all consider each morning after we wake:

  • Skip the K-cups or the Dunkins run and brew a cup of fair trade, organic coffee or tea. (If you really want that Dunkins or Starbucks, bring your own reusable mug.
  • Gather a full load of laundry before starting the washer, and use warm (not hot) or cold water to wash. The next time you buy detergent, choose one free of harsh chemicals and dyes in the most environmentally friendly packaging you can find. Just say no to those hard plastic containers! If your washer kicks the bucket and can’t be fixed, buy an energy efficient one. When your load is done, hang it outside in the sunshine and save some money by using free, fossil-free energy! If you must dry it in the dryer, use an eco setting and wool dryer balls in favor of toxic non-reusable dryer sheets.
  • Likewise, run your dishwasher only when it is full on the energy-saver setting with eco-friendly detergent in eco-friendly packaging.
  • Make the choice to eat low on the food chain, and finish what is on your plate. If you can’t eat it all, save it for another meal. Compost what you must discard. Grow what you can, or buy it locally and organic.
  • Water the lawn only if you really need to, and tend to it with organic lawn care. Better yet, grow more plants and trees that don’t require maintenance and nourish your body, wildlife, and the lungs of Earth in the process.
  • Carpool to work or school in the most low-emissions vehicle available. Or, better yet, walk or ride a bike when the weather permits it.
  • Skip the hair dryer, iron, and curler, even if it’s just only weekends.
  • Unplug appliances that are not in use.
  • Turn off lights and heat in unoccupied rooms. (And when they are in use, make sure your using the most eco-friendly options available to you).
  • Support local business and farmers who are working on, or using, sustainable practices for the planet.
  • Invest your money in the future rather than the immediate pleasure of instant gratification.
  • Teach your children that caring for their planet will ensure they have a planet to care for them.
  • If you want to add a child or a pet to your home, consider rescuing one from a life of poverty and homelessness.
  • Wear your clothes until you can wear them no more, then use them as rages, make something new out of them, or donate them to someone who can use them.
  • Buy local. Buy eco-friendly. Buy used. Buy only what you need. Use a reusable bag to put your purchases in.
  • Support zero-emissions energy sources whenever you are able to.
  • Turn off the water when you brush your teeth. Turn down the water when you shower.
  • Skip the plastic whenever possible. Use refillable containers. Buy zero-waste products. Remember most of our waste is no longer recycled, and when it is, it takes large amounts of energy to do so.

And, most of all, breathe in the beauty of each morning. Breathe in joy and gratitude for the new day. Breathe in light and Breathe it back out. Imagine a new day where devastation is replaced with joy. Take at least one action each day to co-create another morning for all.

Creating A New Earth: Channeled Messages 11/14/15

IMG_2167

Imagine Earth beautiful again. Imagine the resurrection of joy permeated through all beings who grace its surface. Imagine you are one of them, a bringer of the light that is joy. It is a blessed union, drink it in, become a part of it, for it is happening now, when we allow it. Last night, during a past life regression session with Karen Kubicko, I was brought to this place, this state of being, and it was nothing short of amazing. Words cannot describe the love, the feeling of peace and utter beauty that resides here. That resides in all of us. We are one.

This is so very important. We are one.

It is up to us, collectively, to create this New Earth, for it waits, ready to be resurrected. It is the Earth, I was told by my team of guides while I channeled their messages for nearly 3 hrs, that Christ intended to be created. The resurrection of the New Earth that is filled with the light of Joy.

It is, in essence, very simple to create this New Earth. We must. I repeat, we must, stop living in the “habit of fear.” Fear has become a habit. In order to do this, we must find “the light behind the story.” “You can always find the light behind the story,” they told me. This is Truth.

When we dwell upon the pain and suffering, when we relive these energies, even after they have passed, we perpetuate, often unknowingly and unintentionally, this “habit of fear” they spoke of. For an example, they gave me the recent attacks in Paris. “You must find the light behind the story,” they told me, “otherwise you just feed the fear.”

Please take a moment to think about this. By dwelling on tragedies, it is a way of feeding the fear. What we feed grows. Instead, they ask us to focus on the love that surrounds us. They are asking us, when will we understand this that fear is a “like a bad habit we can’t break?”

“It is not that you ignore it [fear],” they told me, but you move on after the event or circumstance that is based upon fear.” There is this belief, they told me, inside of us, that we need to keep dwelling on the tragedies inflicted upon others and the world, rewinding them over and over again, like we are playing a song on repeat over and over again, so we become trapped into what happened and thus we cannot move out of it.

So I asked, “How do you teach people to live in that state of love, when perhaps they do not understand what it really means to love, or live fully in the state of love.”

“The key,” they told me, is “joy.”

As an artist, a creator of stories through words, I am being called upon to permeated my words with joy and light, to find the light behind the stories. So are you. These messages I channeled were for all of us who believe in living in a state of love. The co-creators for this New Earth.

I was shown how this looks. The movies, the books, the TV programs, all the news and media choices available had shifted to works permeated with the beauty of truth. Of light and joy.

This is where the “rainbow light” comes in. It is living through the heart. As an example of what this feels like, I entered the energy of a whale and a fairy. As a fairy, I found myself existing in a realm between the surface of the Earth and right below it. I was a part of a connection, a vast network of life. I was a part of the trees and the plants, the soil and all that dwelled within and above it. I was a part of Earth. It was a feeling of complete and total unity. Of oneness. An indescribable sense of belonging and peace, and of being a part of the Mother Love of Gaia, never separate.

As a whale, I journeyed through the water singing and swimming the sacred song vibration of the Universe. I described it as “Om.” The sound of the Universe that connects to all.  It is the sacred song, filled with peace. Again, there was the knowing and feeling that there was no separation. No disconnection from Source and from the ocean Womb of Earth. We, I was told, are being called upon now to remember this song to heal the Earth, the oceans and ourselves. The dolphins, whales and mermaids now it, and deep within our hearts, we know it.

The “Om” connects us to everything, reminding us, awakening the memory and knowing that we are all one. Collectively, we have forgotten this, trapped inside the “habit of fear.”

I was shown a shark as a symbol of what is interfering with the dance of connection, swimming in front of the whales, cutting off the source of connection; the invisible network that binds us to this Universal Life Force Energy that is Love. The shark represents fear, and I was told there are too many of them right now. We need to clear the fear, collectively. We need to bring the light back to Earth.

And I was shown the love waiting to be given by our “friends” who watch over us in the sky. These 5th dimensional interstellar beings who are waiting to work with us, and to bring in the rainbow frequencies of light. We simply need to ask for it. We need to ask for help, we need to ask for inspiration, and we need to ask to be shown the love.

If you are ready, you can download the codes, the rainbow frequencies of DNA into your body and through your heart. Just ask. “It feels like water moving through you,” is what I said about the experience. Just ask.

Later, I was shown what looked like a large eraser, or broom sweeping across Earth, back and forth. It was erasing the fear, the pain, the suffering, this perpetual state, or “habit,” that has over-shadowed the planet for so very many years. I was shown and told that we, collectively and individually, have the power to call upon this erasing to create the New Earth. “you [humanity] has done it before,” they told me, “why wouldn’t you want to do it again in a good way.”

Think about this. We made the choice, we are making the choice, to stay disconnected from the “Om” and play out the “habit of fear,” in doing so we have erased the memory of who we are. When you enter a meditative like state, through the heart-love, you can ask for this erasing of fear to occur. To me, it felt and looked like a tornado, swirling across the Earth. It was awesome. It was so powerful. As fear was swept up into the tunnel, it was replaced with light/love, or rather, it made way for the light/love.

If you are a healer, you may be called to think about how you heal and why you practice the healing habits you do. I was told that we remember pain if we need to, and heal the way we need to, but we don’t have to go into the habit of fear. Again, we can find the “light behind our stories.” So, for example, you might re-enter a memory to release the trapped emotion behind it, but then you can find the light behind it or around it. You move on and into the light, so as not to play out, over and over again, the fear and pain. Remember, the light is also you.

Find your art, the outward manifestation of the creative power of love and work with it to bring beauty to those around you. Infuse it with the joy of truth and you will achieve the highest vibrational state available to you at this time. Share your art and your creative gifts with the world and you will add your beautiful vibration of light/love to the entire planet, raising the frequency to manifest the New Earth.

My Life is Beautiful

In fact, it is infinitely beautiful. This, quite simply, is Truth, all else is an illusion. Let me show you why.

Flower of Life
A Flower of Life

Like you, I am the embodiment of Light. This is the the truth of all life, yet sometimes we choose the path of shadows. Years ago, I made the conscious choice to walk the path of light. It’s the path we have all agreed to walk, whether we realize it or not. A shadow is a barrier of illusion, its purpose is to give definition to light.

The Birth of Life-Light

Yesterday was a beautiful day, as each day is. My day brought me the gifts of friendship and the love of family. It showed me the infinite glory of life in the state of becoming. Spring blooms abundance and joy bursts forth in song from winged beings. Each moment holds everything offered, and since that is all there is, it is always enough.

Winged Being
A Winged Being

I was reminded of this yesterday. If you asked my ego, it would tell you how it suffered two major blows. That the hopes it held onto for weeks had been crushed. Two punches to the gut. And, I crumbled into its energy of defeat, until my dreams brought me back to reality. I woke this morning remembering that my life is beautiful.

Fearless Abundance
A Symbol of Fearless Abundance

Mother Nature called to me to join her in the state of becoming, and I listened. I walked into her embrace. Here she showed me life is always beautiful when we choose to see it. to feel. To allow. That at any moment we can choose to embrace the light, or stay in the illusion of shadows.

A Beautiful Grump-Stump
A Beautiful Grump-Stump

There is even humor, and therefor light, in the symbols that show us shadows. Today, I laugh at doubt, knowing that it is an illusion. That I can shake its frumpy clothes free and run naked in the light. This is my destiny of becoming, and it is, always, in each moment, enough. It is beautiful. My life is beautiful.
